Is new media just more of the same old shit?
It seems like it, but Smoke Signals is still learning the language, still separating the individual voices from the herd of media magpies, babbling the soapbox spiels of their masters down to the lowest common denominator of the mangy masses waiting to be taken for a ride. Lucky for us (and you too) we speak to the dead and they speak back to us from this electronic Boot Hill we’ve inherited from our guides, influences, compadres and comrades. One day in the not too distant future we’ll be there too, hopefully sending smoke signals back to you through this medium from a far different medium. If that sounds confusing, embrace it; we’re still in the process of working out the ya-yas separating not only the big questions of life & death, but the little ones like adjusting the code of this system to layout the code of our own system of communing with not only our own highest selves, but yours as well.
